Trop’s agricultural division employees are always in contact with the farmers that grow the fruits that supply the production line. The company is certain that both of them have a crucial role to ensure the quality of the final product.

Professionals working in Linhares visit cooperatives and rural producers almost on a daily basis. The purpose is to organize the demands and logistical flow, in addition to disseminating the good practices among fruit farmers, to ensure the quality of the fruits delivered to the plant.

In addition to coordinating and following up the routine of the cooperatives and its producers, the company the company works together with government fostering and research bodies, such as Incaper. Courses and training encompassing both the field routine and management basics are delivered to fruit farmers.

As from the time Trop was established in Linhares, the routine of some fruit farmers of the region changed:

“Ever since the partnership was agreed upon, in 2007, Trop guarantees the purchase of approximately 70% of our production.
